Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 103 Wednesday November 9, 2011

Project Accomplishments: : none on 11-point star quilt project today — it has been 15 days since I worked on that project

Books:  Title: #14 — A Prisoner of Birth —  Author:  Jeffrey Archer– # of Discs: 13 — Listening time: 16 hours 30 minutes

Book Comments: no listening today

Exercise: shopped!

Tools: no nw ones

Observations: The day was full of activities but I also managed to work on a section of the bridge. The rail section needs scrutiny and I am sure some changes will be made after testing it on site.

Prayer: Just when I think I have figured things out, there is a next step to take. I pray you guide me to a solution.

Diversions: Basically, this is a list of things that took up my time today. I began by meeting the quilt group for a shop hop and lunch. I managed to keep my spending to a minimum. Because of the adventure, I sold one of my books in one of the stores. This was unexpected and enjoyable. I also worked in some errand stops in between shops. I returned bottles/cans, got some money at the bank and went to Lowe’s. Lunch was at one of the quilter’s homes and an enjoyable event with good food. I had a doctor appointment for a check up. Then I went to Sears and back home. In the evening H and I worked on bridge sections with rails and spindles. My method of drilling holes worked very well on curved rails. We will take the first sample and “audition” it with the bridge beams. I expect some adjustments in the method but the first rail section is together for testing.
