Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 100 Sunday November 6, 2011

Project Accomplishments: none on 11-point star quilt project today — see observations below

Books:  Title: #14 — A Prisoner of Birth —  Author:  Jeffrey Archer– # of Discs: 13 — Listening time: 16 hours 30 minutes

Book Comments: no listening today

Exercise: raked leaves and painted bridge parts

Tools:  paint brush, paint roller pan, paint roller, paint, screw driver, pliers

Observations: : It is another day where I got done what I planned to do. Woo Hoo! BUT, here I am 100 days from when I initiated the resumption of the 11-point star and it should be well under way. I wonder where I would be now if I had done a little bit each day. It has been twelve days since I have even touched it.

Prayer: Thanks Lord for the gorgeous day, for the opportunity to work outside and to work well with H. I pray that we continue to work with like minds and to make progress on building the bridge.

Diversions: Church and church music took up the morning and after that, a nice breakfast. Immediately after that, H and I gathered up tools and went out to the lot. We raked leaves around the bridge beams and while he continued work on leaves, I began to take staples out of the bridge beams in preparation to give the beams a coat of stain. The beams are 27 feet long and the three of them have a 1-foot curve. We returned home at dusk. I made a nice dinner, sat down and took a nap. Then H and I went to shop and stained the 24 rails that I sanded the other day. Now I am tired.
