Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 90 Thursday October 27, 2011

Project Accomplishments:  None today—based on what I have scheduled for the next few days, it will be next week before I can again settle in to my 11-point star project. I look forward to that time. Bet on it. Monday should be a good day to work on my quilt project.

Books:  Title: #14 — A Prisoner of Birth —  Author:  Jeffrey Archer– # of Discs: 13 — Listening time: 16 hours 30 minutes

Book Comments: no listening today

Exercise:

Tools: no quilting tools

Observations: I did get done what I needed to do today but could have used some more spare time. It has now been 90 days since I decided to pick up where I left off on the 11-point star quilting project. For a while, I made good progress. Then fall activities began to take time away and continue to do so. I really need once again to set time aside for the project.

Prayer: Thank you for another birthday for H. I ask that you bless him throughout the year. Give him peace, happiness, success, love, pleasure and beauty in his life. Tomorrow is the Grand Sousa concert. I would like you to guide my every action and make the music I play pleasing to all who hear me play and especially to you. Make my fingers fly to each correct note and my eyes see quickly and deftly, my ears aware of everything I need to listen for and to and make my tone beautiful.

Diversions: This morning first thing I attended a SBA class in Marketing. I brushed up on how to manage the sale of my books. It was H’s birthday and we met for lunch. Then I had him pick out his birthday gift, which he was pleased to have. I stopped at the music store and purchased a stand for my instrument. In the late afternoon, I began to prepare food for Friday evening, when I host a post concert party for band members and their guest. Then I practiced my Meridian music.
