From Procrastination to Completion

Day 67 Tuesday October 4, 2011

Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 67 Tuesday October 4, 2011

Project Accomplishments: The best I can say today is that I thought about it this project. Over the past few days, I thought about how to make the center portion more accurate and so that means taking out a portion of the first two units that I sewed. It looks like Thursday I will have time to spend on the 11-point star project.

Books:  Title: #10 — Cat’s Eyewitness —  Author: Rita Mae Brown & Sneaky Pie Brown — # of Discs: 8 —

Book Comments: continue with disc 7 (none today)

Observations: People who read this are going to start taking bets as to whether or not I will get back to the 11-point star project and perhaps longer-term bets on whether I will finish it!

Prayer: Before I even got out of bed today, You knew Lord, what I had on my list of things to do today. I got the primary one done, but not until late. I thank you for your generosity. I ask that you continue to bless us with health, wealth and happiness. I never would ask for money, I do ask for the abilities necessary to provide for our needs.

Diversions: Today was bill-paying day. That usually takes a good share of the day. I also practiced my Meridian music first thing this morning. I sewed some fabric squares together, readying them for tomorrow. I met with a friend to discuss a future project. I had band practice tonight and I made some banana bread.
