Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 61 Wednesday September 28 2011

Project Accomplishments: See observations and diversions below.

Books:  Title: #9 — The Winding Ways Quilt–  Author: Jennifer Chaverini 2008 — # of Discs: 9 —  Listening Time: 10 hours 15 minutes

Book Comments: I continued with disc 8 and finished the book. It was better than the last two.

Exercise: Walked 5 minutes on treadmill

Tools:

Observations: I decided to finish this set of doll quilts. Next week I will begin in earnest to continue the large 11-point star diamond sections. – Oh my, is this procrastination or what?

Prayer: You know my day started in earnest to get a quilt sample done before having to discuss it with a group of quilters. I did get it done and did discuss it. You guided me and you know I did not take time to pray. I pray I always to remember to talk to you at the break of the day. It will help set the mood for the day.

Diversions: My weekly quilt meeting was this morning. Before going, I sewed a doll quilt from 2” squares to use as a demonstration for members interested in participating in this quick process. I laid out more squares when I returned home. I worked, to finish, the one I started this morning and got it to the stage where it needs tying or quilting. I began finishing another started the other day and got the binding on. I will add some quilting.
