From Procrastination to Completion

Day 48 Thursday September 15, 2011

Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 48 Thursday September 15, 2011

Project Accomplishments: I did nothing today. I am still waiting for paper and glue delivery.

Books:  Title: #8 — The New Year’s Quilt  —  Author: Jennifer Chaverini 2006 — # of Discs: 5 —  Listening Time: 6 hours 15 minutes

Book Comments: I prefer to listen to these books on CD while I am working on the project. By doing so, I can get a good estimate of the number of hours used in the process.

Observations:  I am ready to get back to the 11-point star project. The doll quilt was an OK diversion but I would like to see some more progress on project.

Prayer: Lord, this is what I would call our first fall day. It is sunny, cool, and windows open, I can let in the world. Bless the world with peace. Dispel greed and help the politicians work in unity. – Ah, but this is probably too much to ask.

Diversions: With a Craig’s list ad, I sold an extension ladder. I primarily worked on LAP doll quilt—not finished but close. It should be done by time project paper is delivered. I went to church music practice tonight.
