Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 47 Wednesday September 14, 2011

Project Accomplishments:I talked, by phone, to www.SewingSupplyWarehouse.com this morning. They neglected to tell me in their order confirmation that they did not have enough paper solvy in stock and that my order is back ordered. The fellow I talked to today in orders indicated they expected to get their shipment today or tomorrow and hoped to get it in priority mail to me as soon as they got it. I should get it next week! Oh hay, I got an email saying my order has been shipped. Great!

Books:  Title: #8 — The New Year’s Quilt  —  Author: Jennifer Chaverini 2006 — # of Discs: 5 —  Listening Time: 6 hours 15 minutes

Book Comments: I prefer to listen to these books on CD while I am working on the project. By doing so, I can get a good estimate of the number of hours used in the process.

Observations:  I learned more about my quilt motif designs on my Janome sewing machine and for the first time, I use my MA hoop, which allows for bigger

Prayer: You know, Lord, that this morning I review what I wanted to accomplish today. I asked for a great day for my husband. I didn’t ask you to guide me but you were there anyway and I had a good day. Thank you.

Diversions: Most of the day, I worked on the LAP dill quilt. I also went, with three others, to a book signing by Kay Nickols in Laingsburg and I enjoyed that. There were about 30 people there and yes, I purchased her book. She had many quilts to show based on her book.
