From Procrastination to Completion

Day 46 Tuesday September 13, 2011

Reading the tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 46 Tuesday September 13, 2011

Project Accomplishments: There was still no paper delivery today. I may reconsider ordering from that company in the future.

Books:  Title: #8 — The New Year’s Quilt  —  Author: Jennifer Chaverini 2006 — # of Discs: 5 —  Listening Time: 6 hours 15 minutes

Book Comments: I prefer to listen to these books on CD while I am working on the project. By doing so, I can get a good estimate of the number of hours used in the process.

Observations:  I enjoyed work on the doll quilt but would like to get back to the 11-point star project.

Prayer: Yesterday was not bad but some things were annoying. Lord, do you skew Mondays to make things go awray? Or, is it just our own influences that cause challenges? I pray today that you guide my hands so that what ever I touch will be what you want them to do. Let my mind be forgiving. Let my eyes see the wonders you have made and let my feet take me in the right direction.

Diversions: Paid a couple of bills, updated check register and learned new format for on-line bill paying. I practiced Meridian music and have band practice in evening. I took care of clothes in dryer. The LAP doll quilt took more of my time today as did my denim jacket embroidery project. I add that not receiving my paper order is the biggest diversion.
