Reading the Tabs titled “An Introduction”, “Background” and “About” will help you know what this blog is about. You can track my 11-point star quilting project progress from day one to today.

Date: Day 44 Sunday September 11, 2011

Project Accomplishments: No accomplishments today on this 11-point star quilting project.

Books:  Title: #8 — The New Year’s Quilt  —  Author: Jennifer Chaverini 2006 — # of Discs: 5 —  Listening Time: 6 hours 15 minutes

Book Comments: I prefer to listen to these books on CD while I am working on the project. By doing so, I can get a good estimate of the number of hours used in the process.

Exercise:  I worked outside mowing and picking up brush for 5 ½ hours

Observations:  I am stiff from working outside but I enjoyed the work. This is the third day in 44 that I have not worked on this 11-point star project. I am waiting for my paper shipment to arrive.

Prayer:  It is evening Lord. I got up late and rushed to get to church and on to other activities. This evening, I thank you for an enjoyable day of working outside. I pray I always appreciate the beautiful nature you have put before me. I ask your blessings on my family. Please give them a restful sleep. Thank you too for the decent job of playing trumpet today.

Diversions: Church and church music and breakfast out took the morning up. I worked outside for a number of hours. Late in the evening, I worked on the LAP doll quilt and auditioned some thread for a piece of embroidery.
