Date: Day 39 Tuesday September 6,2011

Project Accomplishments: Today I sewed primarily on parts of the center. I used some Thermore batting for a light trapunto look on swirled centerpieces. This is hand appliqué sewing and I am slow at that kind of stitching.

Books: Title: #6 Code to Zero — Author: Ken Follett — # of Discs: 9 — Listening Time: 9 hours 45 minutes — Comments:

Book Comments: I listened to the rest of disc 2 through 5

Exercise:  Walked on treadmill for 20 minutes

Tools: Thermore batting by Hobbs Bonded Fibers

Observations: This morning I cut an absolutely beautiful rose from my garden and placed it on my desk. It has a slight, pleasant fragrance. More often, I need to take time to smell the roses. It felt good to spend time on this project today.

Prayer: This morning Lord, I sent my husband off to work and charged him to “have a wonderful day” and he thought I said, yes, “Everyday is wonderful.” I did agree with him because it is true. Each day given to us is wonderful. May I make the most of this day and I hope whatever I do be pleasing to You. Bless my husband and do give him a wonder full day.

Diversions: I will finish paying bills today. I have laundry to do. I must practice my church music and go through my Meridian music. I have band practice tonight.
